What We Do
Our Mission
Purrfect Companions of Norfolk is a group of local citizens that have come together to help the many stray cats and kittens in the area. We are dedicated to finding loving homes for these wonderful souls that deserve the chance at finding their forever homes and families. We take a lot of time and spend a lot of money on the kittens and cats that we take in. They are FIV/FeLV tested, vaccinated, spayed/neutered (if old enough), dewormed and flea treated. Because we take special cases, our vet bills can be high and we are always in need of donations. We are grateful for any and all help which makes a huge difference to the number of kitty lives we can save. We rely solely on donations and local fundraising efforts.
What Is FIV?
At Purrfect Companions, we care for FIV positive cats the same as any other.
What Is TNR?
The Trap-neuter-return (TNR) program humanely traps free-roaming cats (not belonging to particular humans) so that they can be sterilized and medically treated; and returned to the outdoor locations where they were found. However, this can only be done if funding is sufficient.
